The Yugoslavs national day occurs on November 29.

It was on tis day in 1943 that the ruling council decided that Yugoslavia would become a republic. This day is celebrated in every school, factory, office and government organisation.

There are speeches, special shows and historical exhibitions. Flags are hung from everywhere.

The celebration is official because everyone remembers the struggle to become and remain united.
